Transcription: Terrence Conran says in the Kitchen Book, frozen meat first reached Britain in 1880, almost by chance. A consignment of chilled meat dispatched from Australia in one of the newly invented refrigerator ships froze en route. Very soon, frozen meat was being shipped to worldwide markets.
